not that I love to balance accounts/wallets/fish tanks on my head.
recently had a flashback of things between myself and my other half-royalness. we had an ok pre-marriage relationship. and after marriage, things took a turn towards $$ and everything related. and in our case, our love for each other could be formulated to
love = $$ / both of us
the more $$ we had the more love we'll have for each other. so once $$ = 0, love = 0.
I believe much is so for a lot of people too and I would imagine this financial tsunami have uncovered a lot of these "love for $$" relationships, not just the sub-prime or Madoff.
but ever since both of us decided to turn towards God, our relationship not only improved drastically, our accounts are starting to be harder to balance too!
love = God X both of us.
we use to want to fight over whether we should pamper ourselves once a week or not. now we fight to pamper each other. just last week, my royalness agreed to go out with me to my fav jap eatery. and just last night, she allowed me to spend on a new electronic gadget! thank God for IT shows and a generous wife!
I just want it on record that I am certainly grateful for what has God and His Word has done for us and I really appreciate and love my wife Joanna very much.
