New Chapter

A new motorcycle. Another milestone in life. To most, its no big deal but it is for me.

Thank you, God.

Kikotsu!

きこつ or 気骨 means Grit.

What I will be naming the bike and to serve as a reminder that I need to have grit in my life.

One more week!

Not even getting it on that day but the knowledge that it is now within reach, mind blowing.

Triumph Bonneville T120

this morning while driving back I have finally decided to focus my attention on the T120. its not easy for me as my heart also goes out to the other bikes. I kinda understand why some people wld want to change car/bike every now and then coz that way, then will you have a chance to ride/drive them all.

having the financial power would allow one to do this. i am the fortunate one who can have this financial power to even own a new good class bike with all the good features. plus the timing cannot be better. the money comes in days before the expo and i could have the time to do research.

even the decision on this Triumph bike was amazing. if not for the fact that Shaun decided to sell his bike, I wldnt have the chance to go and even consider this brand.

I havent even own the bike yet and it has already been an amazing and fun journey. I managed to see how God can teach me abt anxiety. How I can exercise control if I want to. How we can work on our communications if we want to. and how God can bless us if we are willing to trust and wait.

Walk the Talk!

I want to lose weight and look nice on a spunky motorcycle. But for too long, I have been putting simple exercises like walking off.

Today, I unlocked the Harding Road to Toh Yi Drive Achievement.

100 minutes and 7.6 km. Phew!

On a totally unrelated news, looks like its France v Croatia.

Belgium 3rd and France to win in extra time.

World Cup 2018 Winner

France v Belgium and England v Croatia

France looking good but game to be settled in extra time. England should be able to brush Croatia off in 90 mins.

and France v England? If it happens, I bet it will really be going home for the English.

Belgium to settle for 3rd.

Bye Messi

Late post. Game was on 30th June 10pm SGT.

Watching Argentina eliminated in a 4-3 goal fest wasn't a bad thing. It could be worse.

It was fun with the atmosphere and everything. And don't need to lose sleep with extra time and penalties.

Another 4 years! But no more Messi.

Adjustments

I guess taking public transport is not all that bad. Can watch people.

Bye Charcoal. You have been a trusty steed.

Bye FZ-16. Although I did not give you a special name, I had fun anyways.

Class 2

!!!!!

After almost 3 years, from a never-rode-before to a qualified Class 2 in Singapore. Big thanks to

1) God, for keeping me safe.
2) Wife, for saying yes.
3) BBDC, for such a memorable experience.

The real learning is only starting but it is going to be fun!

Butterflies

Even though I manage well in the revision last evening. Rainy one too. I finally got the hang of doing the bumpy course.

Honestly though, this Honda 750 seems to be a good class 2 bike to start with. But my heart is still with Harley.

We shall see....

Good Day

What a nice morning today! Not too hot! Something I wish for exactly next week.

It will be a good day to see if I can resist red meats in buffet too.

Lent Me Your ...

Meat?

A little late for Lent (10 days left) but never too late to start giving up something to become a better self. And in my case, meat.

Inspired by this, I think it makes sense to go more vegan than not for the sake of our own health even if religion is not a reason.

Is this Empathy?

I watch The Pickers because I really like to see those old stuffs and hear about the history behind some of the pieces, even if they are just american history.

I really think I would be like some of those old timer collectors who would amass a ton of stuffs.

In land scarce Singapore, we would be called hoarders.
